I have over half of his books, seen all the film and television adaptations, and love that one of his books is about a car with my name.

Pros
Completely original and a lot of his books have connecting characters and subplots. A lot take place in the same town, such as "It" and "Dreamcatcher".
Cons
His books are always very long and that can be intimidating for some readers.
