Shoney K

Shoney K is the new kid on the block when it comes to self-publishing. However, she has been writing since early childhood. In grammar school, several of her short stories were published in the school's newspaper. As she got older, her life went in a different direction and writing was put on the back burner. Years down the line, a friend of hers put an urban fiction novel into her hands and that's when her love for reading and her gift for writing blossomed again. Born and raised on the Westside of Chicago, Shoney K is a single mother of a beautiful daughter and loving friend to many. Instead of waiting for a publishing company to decide her fate, she took her destiny into her own hands and opened her own publishing company Hustle2Hard Publications. Shoney K enjoys traveling, playing pool, singing, reading and of course writing.
