Dragonfly Dreams

Dragonfly Dreams follows Daphne through her marriage to an abusive husband, and her escape from him with the help of a retired army officer. It is a story of domestic abuse, romance, and uncovering past lives. Dragonfly Dreams combines a love story with reoccurring dreams about both the future and past lives using the symbolism of animals from different cultures around the world. One of the main characters is of Guatemalan ancestry, and so Mayan mythology is also incorporated into the dreams and story. Set in present day United States Pacific NW, a retired army officer rescues a victim of domestic abuse only for the two of them to discover they have already been lovers in their dreams. Together they learn about their previous lives in Scotland and with Custer's 7th Cavalry.
