My Side of the Story

"How many times have you ever felt alone, or like no one loved or appreciated you? Have you ever given someone your heart only to find that they really wasnt deserving of it? Have you ever loved and never received it in return, but didn't realize it until it was too late? Have you ever heard people talk about you, discussing things that they heard and believing them, without hearing your side? Have you ever smiled because life was better than what people told you and you had faith that you could be anything possible?" 

The newest collection of poetry entitled, My Side of The Story, focuses on the thoughts, feelings, emotions, life's obstacles, racial inequality, and heartbreaks, which women often leave untold. Charron Monaye wants women to focus on their strengths, not the adversity that sometimes shows its ugly and rotten face. She wants women to pay just as much attention to the positive factors of life as they would the negative, and move forward with unquestionable and deniable strength. These poetic stories, written by Charron Monaye, doses her readers with ounces of her own life, allowing others to know that she shares the feelings of being hurt, abused, taking advantage of, loved, cared for, appreciated, or in enraged.
