Take time to ask yourself the very same, as described in the description below - and let's save America from destroying herself - before it's too late. "The Sleeping Giant - Wake Up America!" begs you to always ask the question "Why?" and hopes to bring your attention to things the Democrats either don’t want you to know, or don’t understand themselves, regarding our current leadership and where it’s headed. Any leader who champions the poor is not “in it” for that reason; it’s all about CONTROL.

America is a Sleeping Giant and as a whole tends to accept what’s going on without looking farther than the end of next week. Most live paycheck to paycheck, and would be incapable of looking after their family beyond two weeks -- should a disaster, natural or man-made, affect them directly.

America is asleep to the monetary system and the fractional lending practices of the world’s banks that will bring down the banking system.

America is asleep when it hears the $17 trillion debt number bandied around. It’s meaningless, until you knock off nine zeros and finally see the Federal Budget and its expenditures for what they really are.

America is asleep to the fact that giving the poor money from other hard-working Americans is NOT the way to go. The poor need better jobs, not handouts. But Democrats make the poor feel helpless -- and dependent on Big Government programs -- at the expense of hard-working taxpayers.

It wasn’t supposed to be this way, America. Our Founding Fathers are turning over in their graves, and they knew it would “come to blows” when two parties vie for control of The People. Government is supposed to protect its citizens from foreign attacks, and keep a “checks and balances” approach to spending The People’s money it takes in as taxes, for America's infrastructure.

It’s time to move America in the right direction, and with the help of Glenn Beck and books like this and like-minded others, we hope that confused Republicans and fed-up Democrats will WAKE UP and choose leadership that will "get the job done".

We as a country need some government, but not the mass seething snake pit it has become, where spending OPM (other people’s money) seems to be en vogue, and where “winning” is all that matters — to hell with The People. We, or rather the people in Congress, have got to get back to “right” and “wrong” and learn to be able to tell the difference. And it's up to us to elect them.

What do immigrants find so alluring about the United States of America? Could it be a strong desire to be free from oppressive tyrannical leaders and excessive taxation? Or a need to live life how you choose, and freedom to help your fellow man?

I can tell you FIRST HAND that it’s ALL the above reasons. You see, I was born and raised in England, Great Britain. In 1980, I moved here with my parents, and went to college for a few years. Our aim was to leave behind England's socialist society, and enjoy life in the glorious United States of America -- to pursue happiness in the "Land of the Free" and the "Home of the Brave".

God Bless America, and to the Republic, for which it stands.
