I was born and raised in an around the suburbs of Milwaukee Wisconsin. I had a successful 20 year career as a U.S. Marine Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician that I carried on into the civilian sector. Those many memorable experiences brought me to excellent golf courses around the world. The problem was that I never felt that I was good enough to play on such majestic courses. I never had any type of formal instruction and advice from family and friends was often conflicting and confusing. So I set out to learn all that I could about the game and how it was played. Finally, with a much improved game, I achieved a certification as a Professional Golf Instructor and Club Fitter in 2009. Back surgery took me out of the game but it didn't take away my desire to help.
