I'm a big time sci-fi geek, and a bit of a man-child. I regularly forget passwords and my relatives birthday's, but I can quote entire scenes from my favorite movies. Completing my first novel "The Threshold" was such an unbelievable experience that I almost hadn't realized that I finished it!
"YOU wrote a book??" was the reaction of friends, family and coworkers when told them, and aside from learning that, for some reason they all seem to perceive me as a bit of a moron, incapable of such a feat, I realized that all the other goals I set for myself in life didn't seem so far away. Yeah, it sounds a little corny, but it's true.. |
