My name is Peter van der Stoep. Nice to meet you. I’m a man, born in the year 1977 in the wonderful place Dordrecht, The Netherlands. After my birth, my parents decided to move to Pijnacker. That’s a village between Rotterdam and The Haque. This place is marked in my youth as the place where I grew up.
After my graduation in the year 1999 from the Primary School Teachers College I started my journey as a primary school teacher. I worked the following nine years as a primary school teacher in the Netherlands. After that period I decided to work in South America for three years. Working as a primary school teacher was okay, but it was also a struggle. It made me realize that creative writing is my passion, my life. After twelve years I fully decided to become a freelance creative writer/poet and publicist. That is a remarkable change, but the best one I’ve ever made. Since that decision I’ve had the time of my life. During the month October in the year 2012 my debut collection of short stories and poems was released by my publishing house Boekscout.nl. Peter van der Stoep “Auteur op bestelling” is a bright light in the freelance creative writing business.
