I’m a Northern California-based freelance editor. After graduating from UC Davis, I went on to work in marketing/communications for political campaigns and nonprofits. Since then, I have shifted my attention back to my passion: books! After a year as an in-house Editorial Assistant, I completed UC Berkeley’s Professional Sequence in Editing and started my freelance business.
I have always been an avid reader. Editing allows me to combine my love of reading with my critical skills. I am passionate about helping independent authors and publishers put their best foot forward, getting their stories out into the world at the highest possible quality. I am especially dedicated to advancing the underrepresented voices of women, people of color, and LGBTQ persons. |
