IRINA SOPAS, artistic name Irina Andréa Jacinto Sopas was born on 18/09/1984 in Luanda, Angola. Has portuguese-angolan nationality. Currently studies law in Portugal. Also studied and lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Writes poetry, chronic, article, chick-lit and romance.
Has articles on AMOLEBLON, from Luiz Aviz, that was columnist. Also collaborated in the Club-K (1) (2) (3) (4) angolan site. Has two poems in homage to the father in the literary portal Blocos Online (1) (2), from Leila Miccolis and Urhacy Faustino. Other two poems were selected for anthologies of the Câmara Brasileira de Jovens Escritores (CBJE) (1) (2). Participates in all seven collections.

Irina, whose name means peace has created in August 2010, PoemAZ a poetic composition system already registered, whose sequential words in each verse, accompany the order of the alphabet. Odeio amar-te, poesia – I Hate love you, poetry (in translation) her first book (Rio de Janeiro, Publisher Sapere, 2012), already received positive reviews of writers such as: Delmo Fonseca, Mano Melo, Márcia Leite, Ricardo Alfaya and Vicente Freitas. Empós Ti – After You (poetry, first edition in portuguese, Rio de Janeiro, Sapere, 2013) is the second book of the writer.
