Jim Cangany writes sweet contemporary sports romance stories. The author of The North Star Trilogy and The Irving University Series, he started writing seriously shortly after his wife, Nancy's, bout with breast cancer, which she won. When he found out the stories he was writing were romances, he went with it, because if his experience as a cancer caregiver taught him anything, it was the importance of a couple sticking together against trying circumstances.
Jim is a member of the Indiana Romance Writers of America, the Contemporary Romance Writers of America, and RWA. Represented by Dawn Dowdle of the Blue Ridge Literary Agency, he and Nancy live in Indianapolis with their two sons and kitty-cat Maria, the princess of the family. |
