"The Eyes That Weep"
 
Eyes fill with tears listening to the many voices, the reverberation of a nation "Save him, save him"...
Ill doings from the past thought laid to rest creeping to the present choking out another breath...
One murder leaving a family to mourn, another life traded leaving the law torn....
Lies upon lies sealing the deal, leaving the question "Is justice real or a simple spin of the color wheel?"....
Heart now filled with the pain of remorse as another man becomes the vengeance corpse....
It has been a long road from the day when lives were bought and sold, however when justice is still one sided how far have we really grown... Thinking back to days when evil paraded through the night drenched streets with burning crosses and neighbors hidden beneath white sheets....
Terror filled nights long gone or are they disguised behind esteemed ideals that will never be realized....
Sorrow now being replaced with doubt and much frustration as the mind searches for the truth and righteous motivation....
Motivation that will keep a nation inspired and trying to force change mending the hurt caused from evil ways....
Tears continue to flow from the unrest soul in the quest for peace within the deepest solace of eyes that weep....
