Does trust make you hate or just plain stupid? Part 1

Quentin, I bow to you for having the courage to write this article. It is not God who has brought hatred, racism, bigotry, violence and injustice to the world, but man.
What really bothers me is if you don't blindly follow and believe a certain religion, people brand you as an atheist, an agnostic, or a pagan. Why? For stating, as you have in this article, indisputable facts.
From what I've learned of religion, we ALL come from the same place and are brothers and sisters from the same source. And when we quote such things as "Thou Shalt Not Put Any Other God Before Me", yes, one God whom created ALL mankind.
To use religion for greed, control and power is evident in today's world, yet religious followers close their eyes, their hearts and their minds to what is right before their eyes.
Religion is personal and no one should tell you, for fear of consequence, week after week how you should act, vote, or lead your life.
I take exception to one bit of this article as you are grouping Europeans into one mindset, which I find just as offensive as grouping Afrikans into one category. Perhaps it would have been better stated that PEOPLE who blindly follow, cannot be liberated.
Very good article and I agree many people will find it offensive for they will automatically become defensive instead of opening their mind to truth.
